The Community Mediation Service Stationis a freeconflict-resolution service supported by Bright Hope For Kids. We provide mediation support to qualifying ethnic minorities and grassroots residents, helping resolve disputes amicably and fostering community harmony.  


Our services are only available to Qualified Yau Tsim Mong Resident:  


  • Ethnic minorities facing conflicts (e.g., family, neighbor, or workplace dispute)
  • Grassroots residents who lack access to legal or paid mediation services.
  • Cases referred by District Councilor Offices, Community Care Teams, or Others NGO.


(Note: We do NOT accept walk-in consultations. Please contact us via email or through a referral partner.)


Not all cases can proceed to mediation. The Community Mediation Service Station reserves the right to assess each case and determine whether:  

  • The dispute is suitable for mediation
  • Both parties are willing to participate in good faith 
  • Mediation is the most appropriate solution   

If we cannot accept your case, we may refer you to other support services.  


No, our services are completely freefor qualifying individuals.


         We help with:

  •  Family disagreements
  • Neighbor disputes
  • Tenant-landlord issues
  • Workplace misunderstandings
  • Community-related conflicts  

(Note: Cases involving violence, legal offenses, or severe power imbalances may not be suitable for mediation.)


  1. Get Referred– Contact us via email or through a District Councilor Office/Community Care Team. 
  2. Initial Assessment– We review your case to determine if mediation is suitable.
  3.  Mediation Session(if accepted) – A trained, impartial mediator facilitates discussions for a fair resolution.
  4. Agreement (if reached)– A voluntary agreement is documented.

Yes! Our mediators are professionally trained and neutral, ensuring fairness and respect for all parties.  


Mediation results in a voluntary agreement. If needed, parties may formalize it legally, but our focus is on mutual understanding.


Absolutely. All discussions remain private unless there’s a risk of harm.  In accordance with the Hong Kong SAR Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Community Mediation Service Station has adopted the following policies to safeguard web user’s and Mediation‘s Client  personal information and is committed to protecting its confidentiality. Mediation Service Station will limit the collection and use of personal information to the purpose directly related to the function or activities stated on the collection. Without web user’s or Mediation Client’s consensus, Community Mediation Service Station will not disclose any individual information to other organizations or personals.


This initiative is supported by a NGO-Bright Hope For Kids empowering vulnerable communities through accessible conflict-resolution services.
